A friend in my memories

No idea why that recently, his smile, his look and his voice have kept on flashing across my mind. He used to said that I am one of his very good friends. He has ever promised me that we will be friends for long. He promised me that he will visits me when I come back. But now, he may has probably forgotten me. I was angry that he said he will contact me once he has settled with his new job but he never. He has always been a friend in my memories. His cuteness, our secret sneaking out together, taking his car, having dinner with him. Listening to his talking...will all be memories for me. Regardlessly, I hope no matter where he is now, may he ventures well or perhaps, he could have settle down with his girlfriend that I have ever seen once.

A relaxing friday night - 9 Jul 2010

Met up with Chian Horng after a week of closing eventhough i have a couple more deadlines to meet next week. Met her at raffles place and brought to the 'authentic ' Japanese ramen store located opposite the raffles place Ocbc which Lyena introduced to me. As usually I ordered my cold dry ramen and Chian Horng ordered a normal size ramen. She didn't heed my advice in getting half a size which she kinds of regretted afterwhich. We shared a gyoza and that was our fabulous dinner together. We walked down the riverside toward Fullerton and sat down at it's courtyard to have a good and relaxing night too. :-)

나정말바보에요......

It's really a bad day for me this morning. Went out of home late, thought of getting a macdonald breakfast at chua chu kang. After getting my breakfast, realised that I don't have much time left and going to be late so decided to take a taxi rather than the train. But who knows...its worse...caught in a bad traffic jam at bukit batok and when I reached office, it's already 8.50pm. I forgot to bring my access card and then, realized I left my breakfast in the taxi as well. Oh gosh...what a day for me...Olivia 바보바보....sigh....

Jumbo @ Riverside Point

I pretty much like the 분위기 over there especially if we are luckily to be arranged with the seats along the river side when the weather is good and that, our reservation are early. The waitress in charge told me that it will be better to make a reservation at least 3 days in advance especially during weekend in order to obtain good seats.

An appetizer dish - a small plate of Mango with slices duck meat, small plate of chilli crab from Sri Lanka, small plate seasfood fried rice, 6 small deep fried buns, a fish paste cubes coated with crisp chicken skin cost in total around sgd103. I remember I used to come once with 2 of my other friends and we ordered 1 small plate of chilli crab, a small plate of cereal prawns,3 buns and 3 bowls of rice with a total of sgd85+. I think with the atmosphere and service, it's still considered pretty worth. At least, its able to satisfy or should i say pacify the picky style of my mum and eldest sister when we talk about food.

Last but not least, I still wouldn't recommend a newly known couple to try on chilli crab if it's a date as like what one of friends ever said - it's really not advisable to choose here or to order crab for 1st date as it's hard to eat crab in a civilized way moreover it's chilli crab...it will spolit the girl 1st image....ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

My 과자 is not the same 과자 anymore

Was opening, closing, looking into my 2nd drawer today(That's my 과자 drawer)... while I was eating my 과자...realized it does not seems to taste as tasty as before..remember there used to be someone who always like to peep into my 과자 drawer, peeping over what I was eating while at work. I used to try eating secretly and she will always stretched her neck long to see what I was munching ... I remember I used to buy a big bag of 과자 from 이마트 and crept in so as not to raise any of their attention on it...but once it's found out, oh oh...my big bag of 과자 will be soon be gone within a few days or even hours...I remember I used to grumble and complain but now, suddenly realized I do miss them alot because they made me feel that the 과자 taste much much better....'the nagging...the peeping...the snatching..our bickering over 과자' are all my great memories now....

A big change...!

A big change in my eldest sister with a wider social group. I guess she has becomes more outgoing with a brunch of more active colleagues cum friends. She has becomes more positive with increasing activities as well. Pretty surprise but it has helps her to become more positive in life, I guess we should be very happy about it. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.... At around 10plus at night, picked up a phone call that's meant for her. I was really surprised....Saw her chatting on the phone frequently these days...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ...老姐， 加油吧！！

Another Raining day - 3 Jul 2010

Another raining day today. Woke up at about 6am eventhough I am not working today. Mum said Renzo is supposed to wake up at 7am to go for his swimming and I woke up early to get him wake up on time as well.

Thought of going Tiong Bahru market for breakfast but no one seems interested....and so I suggestion how about Jurong Point. They agreed but soon, it started to pour.

Hung up my working heels for some sunshine, thrown in my bed sheets for a wash. Hmmm...I felt so clean and fresh too after a great morning bath....hohohoho.......

Yesterday night-人算不如天算的一晚。。。2jul2010)

Was working late yesterday and at around 7.30pm, they decided to wrap up and go home. We reached the nearby bus stop at around 7.45pm and thought maybe we can wait till 8pm to catch a taxi so we I intentionally missed the 4 buses of 183 that arrived consecutively...I suggested walking out to the main road where usually, there used to have many taxis that passed by. We waited for half and an hour long and still can't see a vacant taxi. We decided to run for the coming bus and then, we boarded the train that led us home. The whole bus and train journey took us less than half an hour. Out of laziness, I suggested taking a taxi but who knows - that's what we called "人算不如天算". That's pretty embarrassing of me for the wrong suggestion that I made. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ....

Happy days with those kids (Korea) - 3 (31 Oct 2009)

Kathryn McMorrow came to our class on 31 Oct 2010. She's from Canada and came Korea for around a month. She is almost 70 years and that's around my mum age however, her heart seems so young and energetic. She volunteered to join us for a day in class, sharing with us on her experiences with kids. Eventhough its only half a day with her but I learnt alot from her. Not only knowledge on handling those children but also knowledge in life. Not only that I hope my mum can be as strong as her in mind and determination for life, I hope I can be like her, having the sort of strength that she possessed to face in life, to deal with life.

Sok Juk was one of my very 1st students. He was the 1st one that I met when I 1stly joined the class. He was one of the challenges for me. He's a nice friendly boy but he doesn't like to study and he doesn't like to mix around with other kids. But Sok Juk, is definitely one of my students that I will remember well in my heart.

Mum's Birthday

It's my mum birthday today.
We have pre-celebrated on last Friday along with aunties family.
It was in Vienna restaurant-buffet in Novena one of her favourites).

I have applied a day off today as I will having dental check-up in noon.
Plan to get a Tiramisu from Bakerzin after check-up as she ever commented good for it.

She seems to be in quite a good mood.
As Hui's family will be coming over to celebrate her birthday, she said she will be going over to "Seng Song" supermarket to get some steamboat ingredients.

Mama, Happy Birthday....Must stay strong, healthy forever long...!!!

Went over to Petir LRT to help her with some documentation.
She said she will be going to Solomen island for business trip.
She seems worry but I believe she will be alright...

Got a reply from my application. Eventhough its just a initial reply mentioning that they have received and that, they will need a month time to screen through but I am still thrilled. I knew that I am probably too stubborn to listen around and eventhough that I have fear in having regret but I have persisted. I will cross my fingers over it.
